What to do when injured at SAHS

Whenever a student-athlete is injured at SAHS, they should report their injury to their Coach and/or Athletic Trainer.  Once a coach has been made aware of the injury, the student-athlete can report to the Athletic Trainer.  The Athletic Trainer will evaluate the injury and provide a diagnosis.  Once diagnosed, consideration return-to-play options can begin.  All significant injuries (minus bumps and bruises) will be reported to the student-athlete’s parent by either the Head Coach or Athletic Trainer.  A plan of care will be given at that time.  If you have any questions/concerns about an injury, do not hesitate to contact the Athletic Trainer (TBD).

The Athletic Trainer is available in the cafeteria during all three lunches, and has office hours 5th-7th period and does not leave SAHS until after all sports have concluded.
