Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery Test (ASVAB)

St. Augustine High School offers the ASVAB test twice a year. The ASVAB will be offered November 10th, 2020 @ 9:30 am in the Maroon Lab & February 9th, 2021 @ 9:30 am in the Maroon Lab. The November test will only be available to 11th – 12th grade, while the February test will be open to 10th – 12th grade. The Score Interpretation class will be scheduled about 2 weeks after each test, @ 10:15 am in the Maroon Lab.

We are asking each student report to his or her 1st peroid class before coming to the Maroon Lab to get temperatures checked. If you don’t have a 1st period, you can report to the Maroon Lab and we will take your temperature.

The ASVAB, which is a computer based test, is a multiple-aptitude battery that measures abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success in the military. This is test is not a graduation requirement. For practice on the ASVAB students can to to www.March2Success.com. March 2 Success is a free, online, self-paced course designed to improve your performance on standardized tests while enhancing your math, science, English and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) skills.

THE COURSE

March 2 Success is an interactive online test preparation system that provides a full array of subject specific assessments and remedial courses tailored to the student’s educational needs, as well as practice drills and tests. Individuals will have the capability of selecting part or all sections of the courses offered within March2Success.

    • Nursing: Entrance exam practice tests include: PAX-RN, PSB Registered Nursing School Aptitude Examination (RN), Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS), and PSB Health Organizations Aptitude Examination
    • Technology: Over 1,000 practice questions covering Information Systems and Computer Applications, Introduction to Computing, Management Information Systems and Technical Writing
    • Pre-Engineering: Over 700 practice questions covering Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Physics
  • High School Science Hub (earth science, biology, chemistry, physics)
  • Math – this new interactive section includes over 1,000 practice questions covering
    • Algebra, College-Level Algebra, Data Analysis and Probability, Geometry, Numbers and Operations, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Statistics and Business Math

ENROLLMENT

You may enroll at March2Success.com by clicking on the registration button and answering a few questions. Registration is valid for 180 days and can be extended if more time is needed.
