What to do when injured at SAHS

Whenever a student athlete is injured at SAHS, they should report their injury to their Coach and/or Athletic Trainer.  Once the coach is aware of the situation, they can refer the student to Andrew Crews, Athletic Trainer.  Crews will evaluate the injury, and provide a diagnosis.  Once diagnosed, consideration return-to-play options can begin.  All significant injuries (minus bumps and bruises) will be reported to the student athlete’s parent by Crews of respective Head Coach.  A plan of care will be given at that time.  If you have any questions/concerns about an injury, do not hesitate to contact Mr. Crews.

Mr. Crews is available in the cafeteria during all three lunches, and has office hours 5th-7th period.  Crews does not leave SAHS until after all sports have concluded.
